Necromunda Dominion Battle Report: II

This campaign is not following the rules of Necromunda’s campaign exactly. The dominion campaign table has a minimum of 3, where we are just two players. While i’ve played several miniature skirmish games, this is my first skirmish campaign. This is both of our first time with Necromunda. While we have been slowly collecting the books for our gang, we did not start with them.

The Gangs being played are the Escher Gang (aka Blades)  and the Ash Waste Nomads (Ash Catch Ems)

Scenario: Smash And Grabs

Territory played for: The Collapsed Dome

A shot from the second battle of our campaign

—-

It was suppose to be a simple job. No questions ask, get these five crates to another part of the city.  The four members of the Blades thought this would be easy. Easy enough to pull off while their fifth are in recovery.

Questions were asked but remained unanswered. All the Ash Catch ‘Ems knew there was five crates that were available to for the taking. Should be an easy job for the 6 of them, get in, bust the boxes and get out. There was only one spot on their map that seemed best the Collapsed Dome.

Targin order for their horn to be sound and started in. The Escher prepared themselves, lock and loaded. This is what they were hired for.

It was overwhelming odds. There was too many of them. Carly swore as she hid behind the wall. You shoot one, it ducks under cover and a second takes its place.  She saw one attempting to set up a flank. Bev gave the signal to go down the hallway. Carly motion to the side. There was a nod in agreement.

Targin’s venom-caster came out as he watch two Blade members head down the hall. He stepped in and let it rip. The blades champ Brit went down, coughing out as the toxic gas hit her. She ran as soon as she could. She felt her body convulse down the hall. She knew it would take her time to recover. Bev pulled out her needler. She fired back.

Targin was used to the toxin. He felt the pins go through his body; yet he was able to stand withstand it. He gave a signal and the new Juve Yung took his blast rifle and fired at whoever was closest.

Tuez went down, also seriously hurt. She took off as soon as she could. They don’t pay her enough for this shit. She couldn’t see Bev either. She’ll ask for forgiveness later. She needed some time to shake her injury off. Carly saw her running away. She stepped out to fire at the young Nomad standing on the landing. She fired. Hitting straight in the chest. He shook it off. He put his eyes on his sights, aimed, and fire back. For a moment everything in her left eye was gone. She hit the ground and saw Bev leave from a fog of toxic gas and bullets. It was time for her to book it too.

Next Time: BACK FROM THE DEAD
