Necromunda Dominion Battle Report: I

This is my first attempt at a battle report for the dominion campaign I am attempting with my friend.

This campaign is not following the rules of Necromunda’s campaign exactly. The dominion campaign table has a minimum of 3, where we are just two players. While i’ve played several miniature skirmish games, this is my first skirmish campaign. This is both of our first time with Necromunda. While we have been slowly collecting the books for our gang, we did not start with them. We are being a little loose with the rules.

The Dominion Campaign is the campaign in the core rulebook. Both of us are playing gangs trying to control territories and expand.  8 territories are up for grab. Since we didn’t have the rules for Nomads in a Dominion Campaign, We treated them as Orluks for setting up. And we are not strictly adhering to the lore

The Gangs being played are the Escher Gang (Blades) and the Ash Waste Nomads (Ash Catch ‘Ems). 

Scenario: The Trap

Territory played for: The Narco Den

The Ash Catch ‘Ems, gather together scourging the under hive for resource. Unbeknownst to them, the Blades, advanced from the south. Weapons at ready, taking sight of their targets. This was their territory, with insects crawling for it. A signal from Beverly Blast ‘um is all they need. They start firing.

The Catch ‘Ems are caught off guard. The juves couldn’t keep their cool. They ran for cover as the Blades continue their assault. Bullets ricochet off all barricades.  Targin, lead them as best he could, Got some of them in line enough for to duck for cover. Near Bev, she saw a small crate. It wasn’t here last time. She looked at the battlefield, her mind calculating the risks. She dipped and went for it. The rewards outweigh the risks.

2 credits, that’s all that was found. Anger took hold of Beverly. She turn to see exactly the Juve unfortunate enough to be in her line of sight. She took out her Bolter, and fired. Three shots went out. All went wide.

Finding himself unscathed, the Juve fired back. With backup from another Nomad. Bev went down. She’s was out of the action. The others had to keep their nerves. barely holding on.

Rey took a hit to the shoulder. She was injured, bad. She crawled away as the others continued to fight.

The Blades tried to cut in on the territory, but it was the Nomads who held out during the battle. It was the Blades took their chance to flee. Now the Nomad’s claim the territory for themselves now.
