Thoughts On – The Anthropocene Reviewed: Essays on a Human-Centered Plane

When I can hear the author’s voice, I get hooked. It could be due that i’ve watched his videos or the fact that I have heard the podcast the book evolved from, either way in John Green’s “The Anthropocene Reviewed: Essays on a Human-Centered Planet” I heard his voice.

THe review format is a wonderful medium to show his experiences through life while still easily be followed. A journey that I found relatable more-often than not. I’ll return my copy to my local library, and try to find a physical copy for my self. Something to re-read and look at. Something to inspire me and help me as I battle my own depression. There is a peace when reading others experience something close to what my brain says. The way it helps puts words that i’ve had trouble to put. It’s hard not come off cheesy about what this book meant for me, hope. A will to continue despite the brain. It’s one I hope to revisit and help me . Four Stars.
